1/100 MG Guntank

Guntank is mostly complete, and because I’m away for a week on business, I thought I’d grab some quick pictures to show.TGN_2678The arms are one of my favourite areas. They’re well detailed and have good articulation. The simple grey colour scheme works well with the Tamiya weathering master to add that metallic sheen.TGN_2677The tank tracks are somewhat delicate…. But they do look good. The blue contrasts with the brass and makes the whole thing look like it’s a really heavy duty piece of machinery. TGN_2676 TGN_2675 There’s not much red on this kit and most of the pieces are a little different to how you’d find that section on the RX-78, with some interesting curves and details.TGN_2673 TGN_2672 TGN_2671 TGN_2670When I get back I’ll look to adding the decals, more flat-coat on the armour parts and getting some more weathering in on the wheels and some of the body. I should also get some shots with its buddy, the RX78-2.

  1. Looks wizard so far, but definitely needs the weathering on the body and tracks. It’s crying out for some heavy mud spray 😀
