The moral of this story is don’t take 4 years on a build, with 3 of those years being the kit sitting there doing nothing…

The frame was complete, but the white armour pieces needed painting and assembly. I relied heavily on Tamiya weathering palette to add interest and to fit in with the theme.

The frame pieces look great and it seems a shame to cover them up! But the design of the GP01 is great, and the armour shapes interesting. But some pieces were a real pain to fit together!

What I didn’t realize is that I’d have to take some of these parts off, to put the kit into Full Burnen mode!
After a fair struggle, and I don’t think I got the leg armour fitting perfectly, the build is finished!
This is an older PG kit, and it shows. It’s lovely to look at, mostly fun to build, but the transform is clunky and painful.
