Oh so many years ago I remember building some early Macross kits. Japanese robots – Mecha – have always been cool, and made for vastly more exciting, interesting and intricate model kits than the usual planes and cars (with the exception of Tamiya’s most excellent 1/12 Caterham 7).

For fast forwards many years and I built the RX78 V1.5 and Zaku II MG kits. I don’t think I completed the Zaku II and it lay in it’s box for about 8 years…

Bringing us up to the present, I was looking for fun TV to watch with the kids, so we started watching the Gundam series together. And that lead to getting some more up-to-date kits, and that has lead to this blog. Enjoy!
