1/100 MG Guntank part 2

I’m really impressed by the level of detail on the frame of Guntank.DSC03449 DSC03450 Especially these sections that hold the track wheels.DSC03451 I went with brass for the wheels, which I’ll dirty down a bit when complete.DSC03452 DSC03453 DSC03478 DSC03480 I decided not to deal with the join line in the barrel, treating it as detail rather than defect. Lots of Tamiya weathering master on top of the grey. The grey is a mix of Createx white and black, thinned down with Tamiya thinner and some Future Finish. It’s a nice dark grey, and the bottle I made up should last a while!DSC03518 Finally I painted up the tank treads with Tamiya gunmetal and dry brushed the burnt red Tamiya weathering master on top.DSC03519 The core fighter transforms nicely to fit insideDSC03520 Here’s the top section almost complete. The arms are the same grey as a top guns, but heavily weathered with Tamiya weathering master and some Tamiya smoke.
