And as luck would have it, more paint arrived this morning. Especially for the Valvrave kits, I needed a wider range of colours, and I wanted the Tamiya flat white for the Unicorn (it really sticks to the plastic very well, and makes a great base for mixing up pale colours).

I'm going to do a little more work on Akatsuki before I declare the model complete, but as there was little painting to do on the kit, it got me thinking that if I just did plain out-of-the-box builds, I'd go through kits so quickly that Gunpla would become a hideously expensive … Continue Reading ››
What’s next?
So coming up I'll be building the Akatsuki. I really enjoyed this mech in the anime, even though we really didn't see too much (or enough) of it.
